Maboule
Porcelain, stoneware, glaze, ΓΈ 22 cm, 2021
A young doctor and collector who had no inclination for art ordered to be socially distinguished a ceramic for its trendy and affordable side. It was an opportunity for him to arouse the jealousy
of his guests by producing a maximum effect. This is the reason why he turned to a student from a reputable school to get a good return on his investment. The student
understood the need, being in need himself. Simple was his proposal. To physically reveal
the coronavirus. To make it visible and contrary to all the bad press that one wants to make to it, this art piece sublimates this host so as not to forget him. "Maboule" answers the doctor's desire to finally shine in society.

Mountain models in plaster, colored plaster, rubber, raw clay and hydrocarbon mix, 50 X 26 x 7 cm, 30 x 22 x 13 cm, 45 x 24 x 8 cm, 2020
Three models of mountains created at the time of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh (Caucasus, September 2020). They reflect the underlying geopolitical and energy issues. Some are fragmented but attached by flexible hanging systems demonstrating the attachment to a territory a priori inhospitable that everyone wants to appropriate. Installed, they give the public the power of a strategist dominating an apparently uninhabited region. Is there a way to go beyond these national issues to give a voice to the Mountain that will choose to welcome those who respect her the most?
